I don’t like ’self esteem’, if it is depression, call it that, if you have a low sense of self worth, you are a teenager. kidding. I think that self esteem is something that children struggle with, but when you mature you (should) stop comparing yourself with others to determine your happiness.
I think that I have mild depression, but I self medicate with toddlers. :)

See above, but I would imagine more than half of all kids probably struggle with this fairly frequently. Let’s say 60%.

Girls, for sure. They pressure themselves enough, and so many have mothers, sisters, and friends that don’t help at all.
